Rates & Pricing
Bookings are handled via Clarity Hostel Booking, a secure external booking system operated by Independent Hostels UK. You will be directed to their site to complete your booking.
Your Details is a free text field within the booking form. Please use it to include anything relevant to your booking — such as your group name or BCA / CHECC club and membership details. We may also use this field to communicate with you directly as part of the booking process.

Caver Rate is available to members of BCA / CHECC affiliated clubs and organisations. Select the Caver Rate option when booking and include your club and membership details in the Your Details field.
DSS members and reciprocal club members should book using the Caver Rate and include your club and membership details in the Your Details field. Your rate will be adjusted during booking acceptance. Contact us if you need further details before booking.
Scout & Guide youth sections — we offer a discounted rate. Please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements and obtain the correct rate. Adult leader groups book at the standard rate above.
Check-in & Access
Each night covers a 22-hour period: check-in 13:00, check-out 11:00. Groups booking consecutive nights may access the bunkhouse during the day.

All payments must be made by bank transfer, in a single payment by the group leader, in advance of your stay. We are currently unable to accept other payment methods.
All deposits are non-refundable. Your booking is secured on receipt of deposit. Access codes are issued once full payment is confirmed.
A balance reminder will be sent automatically approximately 10 days before your stay. For bookings made within 10 days of arrival, full payment will be required upon booking acceptance.
BCA / CHECC affiliated groups may be eligible for alternate balance payment arrangements — these will be confirmed directly by the Bunkhouse Warden once your booking is accepted.
When making payment please use your booking number as the reference, followed by Deposit or Balance:

Changes & Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable. If you need to make a change to your booking please contact us.
With more than 4 weeks notice we will normally transfer your deposit to a new booking within 6 months of your original stay. This is a one-time offer.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your booking, all monies paid will be returned in full.

- The drying room is coin-operated (£1 coins)
- A key for Baker’s Pit is available to BCA members for an additional £10, payable to DCUC
